DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL ACCOUNT SALES – EXTENDED STAY MARKET

As a key account of every major national hotel chain, we assist with locating appropriate hotels and venues worldwide for conferences, meetings, tour groups, sports teams, and extended stay requests. We are currently looking for an experienced sales professional (Manager/Director level) to join our growing team as a full-time employee working remotely from home or our corporate office in Hoboken NJ. This position includes a competitive base salary (based on experience and how much business you may be able to bring with you), unlimited bonus earning potential, health benefits, 401k, paid time off, and other perks.
The ideal candidate will have an existing client base within the extended stay market perhaps having worked for a hotel chain specializing in extended stay business (Extended Stay America, for example).
Summary of Job:
This position is responsible for revenue attainment, and lead generation within the extended stay market, both by a mix of utilizing candidate’s prior client base wherever possible, along with existing TravelAdvocates’ accounts and lead pool. This position generates revenue by creating, maintaining and growing relationships with all these customers by developing a literal one-stop shop service for customers by using all of TravelAdvocates national partners, web links, corporate ID numbers, etc., in order to support a mutually beneficial and long-term partnership. You'd be finding customers and placing them in proper extended stay type hotel and other accommodations after you've negotiated the rates and terms with the accommodation provider.
TravelAdvocates works with hotels all over the globe primarily on a commission basis.
Responsible for identifying and developing new business through personal sales efforts targeted at prospective accounts
Being proactive with said customers by tracking departures of customers booked and notifying them in advance to inquire if lodging in a new job location is needed or otherwise extend guests as needed in order to ensure client satisfaction.
Identify and develop new business through personal sales efforts targeted at any existing or prospective accounts in order to develop and saturate accounts to consistently demonstrate contact of all extended stay, business, or other related group opportunities.
Collect leads surfaced throughout the organization (including utilizing various owned e-commerce leads), qualify and score the leads based on defined preset parameters, and take ownership of leads that have the most potential. Also follow up on these leads when appropriate.
